ESB Power Outages Report

Locations:

• Each ESB outage locations have a:
  • Uniquely identified by coordinates (latitude/longitude).
  • Area name.
  • Planner Group name that's usually a large town or city, where the responsible ESB team are located.
  • We only display Area name.
• There may be several different outages in an area, Total Hours of outages can be due to overlapping outages in an area.

Outage reporting:

• An outage only appears when it affects more than 10 customers.
• There are two different outage types: Planned & Fault.
• Restored faults often disappear from the ESB site without being updated; we record the time of the outage ending as being the last time we saw it.
